Since 1886, Tabitha has identified health care needs within the community and responded to meet those needs by being the first to develop Home Health Care, Hospice, Meals on Wheels and Intergenerational care. Today, Tabitha offers a complete continuum of home care services in nearly 28 Nebraska counties and is staffed by 800 employees and 1,000 volunteers.

Tabitha Health Care Services is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is headquartered in the heart of Lincoln, Nebraska. Tabitha Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, also located at 4720 Randolph Street, offers post-hospital (subacute) services, hospice care, Alzheimer’s/dementia care, long-term care, geriatric medicine and adult day services. Tabitha is part of Lincoln Specialty Care and the Community Health Information Network. In addition, Tabitha has Regional Corporate Offices in York and Nebraska City.
